Although many come to Capitale to brush elbows with the famous and fabulous (Ashlee Simpson, Jay-Z, and Diddy have graced the gala in years past), others just like to attack the top-shelf open bar and the swish hors d'oeuvre trays loaded with everything from vegetable spring rolls to caviar. D.J. Baby Blu will be on the decks as revelers watch the Times Square ball drop live via projection screen. A higher-priced VIP ticket buys guests a spot on one of the long couches and a bottle of premium liquor.
