With an MFA from Pratt Institute and fifteen years of administrative and curatorial experience working in the New York art gallery world, I co/founded Art Space NYC in 2006 as a curatorial collective dedicated to developing unique programs of opportunity for creative organizations, individual artists and charitable causes. From June 2007 to June 2008 our program schedule included a diverse series of sixteen exhibitions, fundraisers and experimental curatorial projects based out of our temporary gallery space at 20 Grand Avenue in Brooklyn. Since then, we have been cultivating collaborative relationships with outside organizations and private sponsors to bring our vision, creative energy and mission to New York City at large. Our mission has been for Art Space NYC to encourage a new generation of artists, philanthropists and creative people to challenge themselves and redefine what it means to be part of our historic New York art community.
